Peterson Toscano presents his one-man comedy, "Doin’ Time in the Homo No Mo Halfway House--How I Survived the Ex-Gay Movement!" He weaves together humor, program jargon and outrageous eye witness accounts to form a piece that is hilarious, poignant and inspirational.

"Pride in the Park" Kick-off Karaoke Competition

The return of this crowd favorite kicks off "Pride in the Park" weekend. This year will feature three categories:

1. Best rehearsed performance. Pick you favorite karaoke song and get to practicing!

2. Best Improv performance. We pick the song you sing it!

3. Best in show. Come dressed to impress and ready to hit us with your best moves...and singing helps too!

Great prizes for each category!

Music, comedy, drag queens, silent auction...a fun-filled variety show benefiting the Post Modern Man Project. Post Modern Man is an educational series for men who have sex with men facilitated by the Northern Colorado AIDS Project.

The Fort Collins PRIDE RIDE

In September of 2008 The League of American Bicyclists awarded Fort Collins a Gold Level designation in the Bicycle Friendly Community program. We all know Fort Collins is a bike-friendly so come out and show PRIDE. Even if you don't want to join the RIDE bring you bike to "Pride in the Park" and let the valet bike parking sponsored by the Fort Collins Bike Co Op take care of the rest. You can pick from two great rides at this year's event:

Saturday June 6th

1. Kick off Pride in the Park Saturday June 6th with PRIDE family RIDE. Put on your best pride outfit, get out the streamers and do a seven mile (or as far as you want to go) ride up the Poudre Trail and back. We will start at Civic Center Park with registration at 8:00am and the ride starting at 9:00am. There will be fun give aways for all riders as well as prizes for best costumes and pride spirit! Early registration is appreciated so we can staff volunteers appropriately. Water and snack station will be located at the halfway point. Register!

2. For the experienced rider you may want to join the community for a 19 mile road ride to help support Lambda Healthy Living Programs. There will be fun give aways for all riders as well as a chance to win great raffle prizes from our sponsors. Water and snack station will be located at the halfway point. The PRIDE RIDE will start at Civic Center Park with registration beginning at 8:00am and the ride starting at 9:00am.

The pre-registration fee is $10, day of registration is $15. Register!

FunZone

Join us in the FunZone at "Pride in the Park" for kid's games, activities for teens brought to you by EDUCO Colorado, bounce castle, crafts and all sorts of FUN especially for the younger "Pride in the Park" participant.

"Pride at Night" Afterparty

After a day in the park come kick back, grab a drink and enjoy the hilarious Demented Divas. Denver's own drag comedy troupe will keep spirits high as we close out Saturdays events.

Tickets $25 includes one FREE domestic or well drink or two FREE soft drinks and a light appetizer buffet (while supplies last). Also includes admission to the After-after Dance Party!

Join us after as we continue the after-party at Sunset Event Center. Dance the night away to the tracks of local DJ's.

Join us Sunday morning as we continue to celebrate Pride in the Park 2009 weekend with an interfaith nondenominational service in the park.

Sunset Fridays

Join us on the third Friday of each month leading up to Pride in the Park for Sunset Fridays. Dance the night away at the Sunset Event Center with tracks by local DJ's. Proceeds go to support Lambda Community Center and Pride in the Park Week 2009.

Northern Colorado's Pride Event

June 4th-7th, 2009

Pride in the Park features 50+ vendors from across the region along with local food vendors serving up fresh and delicious treats. This is a great way to get your business or organization exposure among one of the most loyal consumer bases in the country. With over 2500 people expected at this year's event you won't want to miss this opportunity. If you are interested in having a booth at the 2009 event you can't beat our prices.

Non-profits can get a 12' x 12' space for only $50 and retail/food vendors can get a 12' x12' space for only $75.
