Greetings Vendors!
It’s time to start planning for the Seventh Annual Fort Collins GLBT festival– Pride in the Park! Join us for fun in the sun, networking opportunities and a cold one at our “Ales of the City” beer garden! Pride in the Park will be held at Civic Center Park, at the corner of Howes and Laporte in Old Town Fort Collins, from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5th, 2010. Set-up begins at 9:30 a.m. Vendor booths will be expected to remain open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. Booth spaces are available for $75.00 each for retail/business or $50.00 each for non-profit vendors. Booth sizes will be 12 X 12 feet to accommodate canopies. Vendors will need to supply their own canopies, tables and chairs. Larger spaces may be available at the discretion of the LCC for an additional cost.
Please note that food vendors will be charged 20% of their proceeds in order to sell products at Pride in the Park. Tickets will be sold at the LCC booth and patrons will exchange tickets for your products. Tickets will have a value of 50 cents each. A $75.00 deposit is required with your registration. The deposit will be refunded with your proceeds no later than one week following the event. Another change this year is that food vendors are allowed to sell soft drinks. Vendors will be responsible for collecting their own city and state sales tax.
Space is limited by the size of the park, so get your registration in early! Vendor registrations will be reviewed by the Lambda Community Center and approved at our discretion. The Application Deadline is May 31, 2010. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent after the completed registration has been received. Last year our Pride in the Park festival was a huge success! This year we expect well over 2,500 people to attend. We’ll enjoy exciting music, good food, fun activities for children, arts and crafts and the opportunity to join in celebration with our friends and allies- new and old. We’re looking forward to sharing this time with you, and continuing to raise visibility and awareness of the GLBT community.
Sincerely,
Arne Andersen, President of the Board
